HCH Flexible Bearing Full Series Developed, 3rd-Gen Production Line Upgraded

HCH has completed development of the full F5 to F40 flexible bearing series and, in parallel, upgraded its dedicated production line to the third generation, providing high-performance, high-consistency solutions for robot harmonic reducers. Product precision and service life now reach the advanced level of comparable international products.

The flexible bearing is a core component of the harmonic reducer, transmitting motion and power through the periodic elastic deformation of the bearing's outer ring. This unique working mechanism means the flexible bearing must repeatedly withstand the superimposed effects of bending stress and contact stress during operation, placing extremely high demands on the fatigue strength of the material, the stability of the heat treatment process and machining consistency. Any dimensional deviation or structural non-uniformity can trigger early fatigue failure under long-term alternating loads, directly affecting the transmission accuracy and service life of the harmonic reducer.

Addressing these technical challenges, HCH has completed the product layout of the full F5 to F40 flexible bearing series, covering the supporting requirements of mainstream harmonic reducer models, and has simultaneously upgraded its dedicated production line to the third generation. The third-generation line has been systematically optimized across key processes including material screening, heat treatment control, precision grinding and inspection, significantly improving product consistency and yield and effectively controlling dimensional and performance variation both within and across batches.

This full-series development and production-line upgrade brings HCH's flexible bearings to the advanced international level in rotational accuracy, rigidity and fatigue life, enabling high-performance, high-consistency solutions for robot harmonic reducers. This is of positive significance for improving the domestic supply chain of core robot components and enhancing the autonomous, controllable capability of the industry chain, and it also provides downstream industrial robot, collaborative robot and service robot manufacturers with a more reliable localized supply option.
